Prior to the introduction of railroad safety legislation in the late 1800s, America's railroads were a dangerous place to work. In the years since, with pressure from governmental regulators and organized labor in particular, railroads have progressively become safer places to work. But there's still a lot left to be done and Joe Picca needs your help. Joe has recently been appointed general committee safety rep for the Hoboken Division and is ready to receive safety concerns from the membership. As the Safety Officer for the Hoboken Division, he is your advocate fighting for you and your right to work in a safe environment, but in order to do this he needs your help, He is only one person and cannot be everywhere all the time. If you have any safety related concerns please let him know because he can help. That is why he is here and that's what his web page is all about. His is a proactive web page where he encourage feedback. He will answer ALL e-mails.
