Cab signal rules have finally arrived on the Hoboken Division!
Cab Signal Rules are in effect now on all of New Jersey Transitr except the Pascack Valley Line.
We are posting the 550 rules with the "official" NJ Transit explanation to give you a better understanding of what they mean and how they affect us as the system expands to include the entire Hoboken Division.
These Cab Signal Rules are explained in the Summary Bulletin order issued each Saturday as the "Rule Review of the Week". The rules will be archived here as a ready reference to the members.
If you have any questions we encourage you to direct them to the Rules Department until we can convince them to come "online" with us here on the "Unofficial Hoboken Division Engineer's Web Page".
We have included a short study guide at the end of the each page to help improve your knowledge of the Cab signal Rules. These questions are similar to ones which might appear on the annual rule test given by the NJ Transit Rules Department. Any questions concerning the questions or answers presented on this page should be addressed the the NJ Transit Rules Department.
The "Unofficial Hoboken Division Engineer's Web Page" authors assume no liability for time "out of service" for wrong answers on the annual rules test.
